Scam email

I received an email stating the my Apple ID was locked due to unauthorized access and provided me a link to verify it. However, when I followed the link, the password I put in was not correct but it acted like it was and let me into "the system". It then wanted me to verify who I was by asking my DOB and Social Security number. However when I looked closer at who it came from, it did not seem right.

I closed the site and then I logged into the actual Apple ID site and it did work. This email is a scam. I would never fall for giving my SS!

Send the e-mail to Apple as an attachment to a new e-mail before deleting it. You can forward as an attachment by going to Mail/Message/Forward as attachment.
