Resore data from old time Capsule

I have an old time capsule 3tb that I no longer use and has 1.7 tb of data. I can’t remember what machine used to back up to it but I’m hoping for a treasure trove of missing pictures.

I have multiple machines but don’t Want to over write the local data.

How would you go about extracting files from a sparse bundle to a Nas or external drive in High Sierra?

I’m lost.

Not sure if 'Browse Other Backup Disk' would show backup content.

If unsuccessful, you may still try to connect to TC (need username/password), should be able to view a list of files (sparsebundle) with machine name (Macs using the TC as backup disk). Assuming backups are not encrypted, double click to mount on desktop, and you should be able to browse the disk.

Good luck.
