Apple iPhone X Leather Case "Bubbles"

My Apple iPhone X Leather Case has developed bubbles on the side edges. I haven't seen this happen to leather in general, wondering if this is a defect in the case/leather?

Hmm, it just adds character 🙂

Seriously, all leather products age differently. However, if you take it back to where you got it, they might replace it.
