First method -
Change Apple ID password using find my iPhone .
On you iOS device , click on home button . Scroll to next page > click on extras > you will find find my iPhone click on it , enter your Apple ID only , click on forgot Apple ID or password , click on next.
Reset options - choose how would you like to reset your password ( a )
Click on reset through mail and click on ok .
Then open your mail with web browser ( server account ) , open mail > click on reset password > two fields will be shown .
( a ) new password …..
( b ) verify password ….
Enter the credentials , and click on reset password , the password is changed .
Secondly ,
If you had clicked on - answer security questions - click on the right arrow .
Date of birth , verify your date of birth to continue > fill up the credentials > click on next and same pop up window will appear .

Fill up the credentials and click on reset password , the password is changed .
Second method -
If you remember the Apple ID and forgotten the password see some simple steps to reset new password using a Mac .
( a ) Open system preferences , click on iCloud and click on account details , a pop up window appears click on forgot password .
( b ) Click on continue .
( c ) A small pop up window appears showing how do you want to reset the password ( if you select the first option reset by email , a mail will send to your rescue mail address , the mail address you are using in IMAP account , it could be gmail id or yahoo id whatever services is used .
( d ) It will show a link to reset the password just click on it , enter the new password and in the confirm field type the same new password and click on reset password .
Third method -
How to change Apple ID password in recovery mode .
Shut down the Mac , press command and R and power key , the bars loads let it be completed , select language as English , click on encircled right arrow .
From the top menu bar > click on utilities > click on terminal > type resetpassword and click on enter key on the keyboard .
A window shows if you can’t log into your computer because you forgot your password , you can reset it now .Select a user to reset password the password for , so click forcefully the user name and click on next .
A prompt will show enter the password for apple id and empty password field will be shown , don’t type anything in the password field , click on forgot Apple ID and password ?
A small circle will rotate after a while a window will appear showing , enter your Apple ID to continue your Apple ID is the email address or phone number you use to sign in to the iCloud the App Store , or iTunes .The Apple ID will be written and two options will be shown ( a ) Back ( b ) continue so click on continue a small circle will rotate .
After a while , a window appears showing select how you want to reset your password .
( a ) Reset by email .
An email with reset instructions will be sent to your email address .
( b ) Answer security questions .
Answer security questions and change your password now .
You can check the box of reset by email .
Two options will be shown ( a ) back ( b ) continue . So click on continue .
A window appears password reset email sent .

Now , open your web mail rescue account by entering the mail address and password , in the mail inbox click on the mail it will be showing .

A window will appear , enter the new password , in the confirm password field type the same password , and click on reset password .
The Apple ID password is changed from recovery mode .
If you have checked the box of answer security questions , in that scenario the password can also be reset using the month / day / year of your birthday ( click on the drop down arrows and fill up credentials ) .

Your password must be at least 8 characters , include a number , an uppers case letter , & a lower case letter .
So fill up the credentials it will show ( a ) back ( b ) continue .
Click on continue .
