How to transfer songs from iPad Air 2 to iMac

How to transfer iTunes songs from iPad Air 2 to iMac? I synch but there are still songs on iPad that are not on my iMac.

If they are iTunes store purchases do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on your Mac's iTunes
