A family memeber has alreday purchased the item. To download it again for free, select Ok. “

"A family member has already bought this item" error?

When I try to purchase some Free apps, I get the following message:

""A family member has already bought this item.

a family member has already purchased this item. To download it again for free, select OK."

(I press ok, then nothing happens)

My devices can launch and go through App Stores without issue, so I know they are connected to App Stores, it just won't allow me to download some Free apps and some purchased Apps. This issue is present across my iPad, iPhones, and MacBook Pro, which are all running the latest operating system they can.

I even deleted some apps and re download them again. But unfortunately the said message is keep pop up.

Please advise how to solve this issue.

Hang on, you've been invited to a family share, but haven't completed the process. However you're seeing a message that clearly indicates some connection to a family share. Perhaps the solution is to either get the family share invitation withdrawn, so you can make independent purchases, or complete the set up of it so you can freely access what has already been obtained by others in the family. Do you know who has tried to join you to their family iTunes account, or is it a mystery?
