Yellowish Spots on MacBook Pro 2017 Screen

Hi there!

Recently I've noticed that screen of my MacBook Pro 2017 (15" with TouchBar) become covered with two symmetrical yellowish spots. Former uniformity of screen coating also disappeared, now it looks like a little bit dirty from some view angles.

Here are some photos of the screen, one with increased contrast to make spots more visible (and it looks like an alien snuck under my screen 😮 ).

I use my MacBook for one year and basic warranty already expired, but thanks God, I have an AppleCare Protection Plan.

Sure, I will take my MacBook to local service provider but maybe someone had similar problem or even it's a well-known issue?

Thanks!

Yes I have heard reports before. The best you can do is take it in to your AASP Apple - Find Locations

or Apple

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test
