I just upgraded to Mac OS High Sierra and my Apple USB keyboard stopped working!!! What's going on Apple???

Can not reset NVRAM or PRAM if keyboard is not recognized! What other solutions exist? I’ve tried everything that previous users have used. Only thing that seems to work is usb cord extension trick, however when you completely shutdown computer, it will not recognize usb keyboard once again at startup. Help please

Resetting the System Management Controller

You should borrow or obtain another keyboard to reset the NVRAM and/or SMC. Any USB keyboard will do.
