Apple Watch Series 2 - Digital Crown not allowing me to set alarms. Help?

Have been happily setting my alarms on my Apple Watch Series 2 for quite some time... However I tried to alter the time on one this week and nothing happens. The digital crown is turning quite happily but it is having no effect on the hours/minutes on the alarm.

Have followed all the cleaning suggestions and have done a hard reset using both the digital crown and the power button but to no avail.

Anyone else had/having this issue and how have you rectified it?

TIA.

As a workaround until you can get service for your watch it might be possible to use Siri to set alarms By voice control. For a permanent fix Contact Apple Support and arrange to have your watch checked and repaired by Apple.
