Remove Malware

I was conned into "updating Adobe" but there was a fake button on the page that resulted in downloading one of those "Your computer is infected" scam programs. Also reset my default search to Yahoo. Got rid of the "infected" screen/program and put the download in the trash, emptied it. Also reset the search successfully. Still getting some bugs and problems at start up, doesn't always let me sign on, lots of rebooting. Is there a program I can run to scrub?
