Airport Extreme and HughesNet (satellite internet)

I just got HughesNet installed. No DSL or cable out here. Will an Airport Extreme work with this to give me wireless capability in the house? Do I need a wireless router also, or is the AE the wireless router? The HughesNet comes into the house into the modem, which then connects to my computer via an ethernet cable.

Thanks for any help with this.

your AE is your wireless router. just run an ethernet cable from hughes modem to AE base and you'll be wireless.

I don't buy the comment "just connect the dots." That person does not provide any correct answer!!

I have a problem connecting my mobile Hughes/Direcway 6000 with my "new" Airport Extreme Base Station.

Does anyone know how to "go through the steps" in making the "correct" software connection for a Hughes/Directway Internet Satellite system??

Thank You!!

Chuck
