Normalizing Audio

Hello,

The audio levels in my iMovie clips are all over the map.

How can I normalize them so that they play at the same volume?

My version of iMovie is 10.1.9, and I use it on an 2017 iMac running High Sierra version 10.13.6.

Thank you!

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.4)

Hi,

Shift-click to select the range of audio clips, or video clips with embedded audio, that you want to normalize. Then click on the little loudspeaker icon in the tool bar at the upper right of your screen. You will see a little slider button to the left. Move the slider to normalize the volume.
