Can't sign in to Podcasts Connect

While trying to sign up for Podcasts Connect, as soon as I agree to the Terms of Service I get the following error message:

We can't process your request.

Go back to where you were and try again. If the problem continues, contact us.


the "contact us" button just takes me back to the beginning of the sign in process, so I'm in an eternal loop with the same error message every time. Has anyone seen this or know how to solve it?

There is a widespread bug which Apple are aware of and are investigating. There isn't really anything you can do until this is sorted.
