An unexpected error occurred while signing in

I have this issue on MacOS High Sierra. Although I checked some solutions but look a bit outdated (2016)

Any help would be appreciated it!

"An unknown error occurred" when signing in password to my Apple ID Hey guys! I have been bothered about this pop-up message on my MacBook Air. Unknown error on macbook My macbook has decided it won't let me login on my apple ID. It works on other devices like my iPhone, but every time I try to sign in on my macbook I get "An unknown error occured." I've done the system update to see if that would change things, but no luck. And I've of course restarted things a few times to try see if that would help. [Image Edited by Moderator to Remove Personal Information]

If I'm understanding correctly, you are receiving an error when signing into the App Store. I will be glad to assist.
