I only got $20 from a $50 iTunes card.

I purchased a $50 iTunes card and got it activated but when I entered the code I had only received $20 into my account. Was it a faulty card or just a messed up activation proces??

The card has $50 written on it, you didn't owe iTunes any money, you've tried logging out and back into the account to see if your balance updates ? To contact iTunes Support (they will want to see images of the front and back of the card and its receipt) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww
