MacBook Pro 2018 Throttling Core i7

I have the base 2.2 ghz with the Radeon pro 560x and I’ve been having really high temps and throttling. This is present when video editing or any form of gaming temps hit 100 really quick and fans react to slowly. This issue is even worse in boot camp where just doing nothing on the windows ten desktop and temps are at 100. Is the throttling patch not applied on boot camp if so is there anything I can do to lower temperatures for the Mac. This is a professional product I even avoided the i9 but the i7 is throttling as well. Any help will be greatly appreciated

The speaker issue sounds familiar. I had the same with my Skylake game PC as well as our UX490 Asus. Both experienced some form of sound cracking (and sometimes buzzing) under Windows 10 (when using the Fall Creative update as well as the April 2018 update).

When experiencing high temps and throttling under Win10, I would normally suggest undervolting, HOWEVER I don't really know how this would effect OSX. 😟

In OSX It’s fine as it’s been patched it can maintain turbo and fans will eventually ramp up before thermal throttling it does run hot but that’s minor as long as the fans can keep the cpu from throttling. In windows it’s everywhere in terms of thermals and I’ve told apple this as well but they seem clueless. There is a lot of speaker crackling on windows when opening a game and it gets worse the longer you let the crackle play.
