I was sent an invite to join a shared calendar however when I go to accept it it says that "two step verification is enabled for this account. To accept this invitation you can use icloud.com". I receive a verification code but cannot figure out where to enter this in icloud.com. I tried disabling the 2 factor authentication but from what I read I cannot do it (just set up my phone on August 13).

I am having exactly the same problem but your answer does not work. If I go to iCloud.com to sign in I only get the option to set up iCloud on this device ..... which I don’t need to do because this is an iPhone & I am signed in already. However when I follow the calendar invite, I get a prompt to sign in, followed by a pop up notification about the sign in, which I allow, then I get shown an authorisation code but there is nowhere to enter the code! I then can’t get any further - just a screen about 2 step authorisation referring me to access iCloud on a desktop or ask for a new invite. Asked for a new invite : same probkems as before. Log in via desktop (Windows) - all fine but cannot see any calendars except my own, and when I go to follow the link from the email on my laptop it says it cannot open the link.
I just want to be able to see the calendar on my phone!
