IPhone 6s drops network service after update

I have an iPhone 6s that I did not use for almost a year, however the phone was working great, now I decided to use it again and updated the software to the latest version. After to update the phone started to drop the service periodically, And is really strange because it drops the service when the phone is Idle, all that I have to do to recover service, is to either retrieve the sim card and put it back in or reboot the phone, I updated the iPhone using an old windows computer, a friend told me that using a low performance computer might give me software issues, what do you guys think?

What iOS version are you running? (Settings>General>About>Version)

If the "old" computer was able to update your device, you should have 11.4.1. If so, the "old "computer has no fault.

Now, as far as connection issue is concerned, you can try and reset network settings:

Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

When done, restart your iphone

If the issue still persists, it could be a hardware failure (antenna? SIM card holder?).

Have your device inspected at your most convenient Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider:

Apple - Find Locations - Location Selector
