Phone wouldn't reset and now stuck in disabled mode

Hi there,

So long story short, I've had issues with this phone and my iCloud i broke my phone and was given this as a replacement from a friend (iPhone 7). It's 32g and my old one was 64g and it could not restore from my backup fully as there was not enough storage space on it (10g and change left).

Apple contacted me that the new phone was ready for pick up and Im going to go get it soon, but i cannot get this other phone to factory reset. I tapped on it and literally it did nothing. I tried turning it off and back on because it's been freezing and that's fixed it lately but now my phone says Disabled try in __minutes...

It won't connect to iTunes and I tried a "hard reset" and that didn't work either...any suggestions? I planned on trading this guy in but not if I can't reset it 😟
