Drudge report is gone from the app store and the app is not working now so *** is going on apple?

I noticed this a couple of days ago, too. In the meantime, until this gets straighted out, we can save a link to DRUDGE REPORT 2018® at https://drudgereport.com on our Home Screens. Just go to use the box with the arrow in Safari or Google Chrome to make your own button on your Home Screen.

I see that some of the discussions concerning this issue have been removed. Even when I check my own recent activity I see that those posts have been deleted. If Apple is censoring posts and deleting Drudge I would think it would be a huge thing with Drudge protesting most of all. But Drudge is not. I think this forum is the best place to solve this mystery and I hope someone has a definitive response.

Of course it's not a constitutional violation as Apple is not part of the U.S. government. Perhaps you failed to see the quotations around the phrase "freedom of speech" in my response. And, if we're talking "free market" (something that should also be in quotes in the U.S., by the way), then Apple's not doing anything wrong.

No one here is particularly concerned with what type of phone you chose to buy in the future.

The fact that, several months later, no one at Drudge has said a peep. And, let's face it, they're not the shy types and unafraid of complaining if they feel unfairly treated. Plus all of their content is freely available on all Apple devices via the web browser.

How could it possibly be that Apple is censoring? You can still go to those sites using Safari. They haven't blocked it in the browser. If they wanted to censor anything they would block the website.

I suggest reading the thread you posted to. All evidence points to the fact that Drudge removed the app. If Apple had deleted it don't you think that Matt Drudge would have screamed to high heaven? He isn't shy, you know.

Apple does not remove apps based on their content. They DO remove apps that violate Apple's security guidelines, such as apps that steal user data from the phone and sell it or use it for unsavory purposes. So it's possible that the Drudge app was stealing your data, and Apple caught them. Which would be another reason that Mr. Drudge was quiet about it. But I think it's more likely that Drudge removed the app rather than pay their outside developer to update it.

Really? There are two possibilities here. One is Apple is censoring Drudge. The other is that Drudge pulled the App(s) for some reason.

If Apple are censoring Drudge then they're not doing a very good job, because Drudge is available on every single Mac, iPhone and iPad via the Web Browser. So, how is that censorship? Also, given that Drudge, like you, would love to whine forever about censorship, how come they have said nothing. How come they haven't complained? How come when other people have asked them what happened to the Apps, they simply haven't replied? I mean, let's face it, any whiff of censorship would just be a great cause for them. But they haven't taken up the cause. So, I know this is just approaching the question rationally (and I guess that's not a strong suite for you), but really there is zero evidence that Apple are censoring anything.

That means that Drudge have pulled these apps for some reason. Why? Ask them. They might do you the courtesy of a reply, even though they haven't bothered to reply to any one else.

You agreed to allow Apple to delete anything they wanted when you register for these forums. Speculation, specifically, is a violation of the terms of use.

Also, what other threads are you referring to in which folks are discussing trying to contact Drudge and getting no reply?

As of right now, there is no Drudge App available on the App store. If you see one, give me your search string.

I can get the Drudge Report through the Internet, but the app just disappeared. Yesterday I clicked on it and all I saw were the media links.
