Audio/Software/Display Problems with Mac Book Pro (15-inch) 2018 OSX Version 10.13.6

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased the latest Mac Book Pro 2018 Model with Touch ID and the Touch bar with Apple Care in mid-July. Everything was working smoothly for the first two weeks but then I ran into some problems.

-First, When I tried to connect Wireless Beats to the computer, they would connect but the audio would be very low quality, as well as being delayed.

-Second, about a week after the initial problem started, a new audio problem arose. When watching a video or simply listening to music, the audio would randomly start to loop and wouldn't stop. I tried closing all the applications, i.e. Logic, Safari, and iTunes, but it still continued. The only way to get around this problem was by either restarting or rebooting the computer. However, this problem wouldn't/hasn't gone away, causing me to constantly have to restart the computer. Recently however, the audio glitches have been getting worse as now, instead of looping the audio, the computer produces a loud cracking sound.

-Third; now in these past two weeks, the computer will randomly shut off for no reason. Even when it is around 50% battery, it will shut off. I am not able to turn it on by pressing the power button; the only way it to turns on is if it is connected to a power source.

-Lastly, a few days ago, when the computer has an audio glitch, the screen starts to glitch as well, showing random squares of green and purple pixels; again, the only way to get rid of this was by restarting or rebooting the system.

To add to this, the computer has not been damaged by any oils or water; it has been on my desk since the day it was purchased, and kept far away from any foods and drinks. There has been no damage due to dropping it or hitting it either. I genuinely have no idea what to do by this point, if anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Well you can do your due diligence:

Try resetting the SMC http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964

1 Choose Apple menu > Shut Down.

2 After your Mac shuts down, press Shift-Control-Option on the left side of the built-in keyboard, then press the power button at the same time. Hold these keys and the power button for 10 seconds.

3 If you have a MacBook Pro with Touch ID, the Touch ID button is also the power button.

4 Release all keys.

5 Press the power button again to turn on your Mac.

Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

1. Shut down the computer.

2. Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.

3. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys.

4. Turn on the computer.

5. Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.

6. Release the keys.

Otherwise I don't think I would hesitate to take it in—

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test and ask specifically for the VST (Video Systems Test)
