Ok thanks for enlightening us Oracle
Probably because Apple didn't delete the app. So they have nothing to explain. Now I realize that Matt Drudge is such a shy, reticent kind of guy who wouldn't think of stirring up trouble, so if Apple had removed his app from the app store it would never occur to him to complain about it to his audience. Oh, wait...
The fact is that Drudge hasn't said a word about it in the 8 months since it has been gone. I can only think of two logical possibilities:
- Drudge removed it.
- Apple caught the app stealing user data.
Even when asked directly, Drudge has ignored the question. So I would lean towards the 2nd possibility. However, for the first possibility, last June drudgereport.com was completely redesigned to make it "responsive" - that is, have it dynamically adapt to the type of device it is displayed on. It's really rather attractive now, whether viewed on a computer, a smartphone or a tablet. And each view is different and optimized for the device it is viewed on. So it's likely that PTB at Drudge decided they didn't need a separate app that they would have to continue paying for and supporting.
What you can do to access the Drudge Report is to go to https://drudgereport.com in the Safari (or other) browser on your phone. And if you use Safari you can even save the link as a "favorite" with its own icon on your Home screen, just as if it was an app.

Oracle? I expressed an opinion. I wasn't predicting the future. Perhaps that word doesn't mean what you think it does.
Yes, it stopped working properly and I uninstalled and now it’s not available
Perhaps that word means much more than you think it does. And perhaps the other word you posted the same reply
to means much more than you think it does.
I think you know the answer to that question huh? ;)
Also, censorship is not a good thing.

Hopefully the actual reason will be revealed and revealed in this forum.
No, it's not going to be revealed in this forum because neither Drudge nor Apple make announcements here.
hoorah for decency and cluelessness!
It makes perfect sense. Perhaps you should consider English education classes
Curiously you only direct this post at myself when you could have directed it to at least one other person also. Hmmm. Now I wonder why that could be.
how do i subscribe to the drudge report app
My Drudge Report still works on my iPhones and MacBook. I deleted it from my iPad and cannot get it back because it is no longer in the app store. There is little news re why it was removed. As someone else said, if Apple arbitrarily removed it you can be sure Matt Drudge would complain. On the other hand, I notice that some of the questions on this topic have been removed, or at least hidden from my view. I would think that the participants in this Apple community are intelligent enough to reveal the truth. Hopefully soon.

BTW, I find extremely disturbing that Cook is "cooking" the Apple. Cook wouldn't release the killer's iPhone to the FBI after the San Bernardino killings but readily released Roger Stone's iCloud files to the FBI a few days ago.
Have FACTS gone totally out of fashion, or do you just choose to ignore the facts that disprove your prejudices? Apple released the killer's iCloud files to the FBI immediately. Apple will release anyone's iCloud access to any law enforcement agency with a proper warrant. You will find this in Apple's published privacy policy.
And Apple did not have to release the killer's phone to the FBI. They had it already. Apple said that they could not unlock the killer's phone. And the fact that the FBI had to pay a specialist $1 million to unlock the phone pretty much proved Apple's claim.
You think wrong. Why don't you read the thread you posted to?
If Apple is not allowing Drudge, why hasn't Matt Drudge complained? He certainly isn't shy. And Apple IS allowing Drudge. Just open Safari and go to http://drudgereport.com.
What happened to the Drudge Report App?
