Facebook displays only two post in Safari

Facebook is only displaying two (sometimes three) posts on my Facebook page, in Safari 11.1.2. It also will not show the customary grid of friends who have recently posted. Much of the time, it will only show the most recent two posts on friends' pages as well.

This started about a month ago. Facebook help is, of course, no help at all.

I tried going to Facebook using the Chrome browser and was able to see all the content that would not show up in Safari. I suspect Facebook made some sort of change that is not quite compatible with Safari.

iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.2), Apple Wireless Mouse (Bluetooth)

Hi,

I’m not experiencing any issues with Facebook using Safari.

Cookies and history can cause the problem you are describing.

For History. From your Safari menu bar click History > Clear History

For cookies. Back to the Safari menu bar, click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab then click Manage Website Data. Give it a minute or two for your cookies to populate then click Remove All > Done. You may need to do this several times to completely remove al the cookies.

Then quit and relaunch Safari then try Facebook.

If you have the AdBlock and/or AdBlock Plus extensions installed, try deleting them. Quit/reopen Safari and test.

the problem seems to have been fixed in the Safari 12 upgrade.
