Apple has offered Core i7 processors in MacBook Air models since mid-2011. In the 11 inch model until its discontinuation as the early-2015 model, and all 13 inch models through present. These are usually configure to order. They feature two, independent processor cores on a single chip with no hyper-threading.
Amazon features Apple products, either directly from Amazon, or their resellers.

Huh... I didn't realize they had a core i7 option for the MBA... considering how long it's gone without a significant refresh, I'm surprised.
That would be a custom ordered hardware configuration...
