Touch ID on my iPhone SE has stopped working.

Hi,

About a month ago, the Touch ID feature on my iPhone SE stopped working. It happened quite suddenly and, as far as I'm aware, was not the result of any physical damage to the phone (which I normally keep in a shock and water resistant case). Since then, I have tried rebooting the iPhone, restoring the software, enrolling a different finger and various other options suggested online, but to no avail. I would be very grateful for any suggestions.

iPhone SE, iOS 11.4.1

When you Restore did you do it via iTunes and did you SetUp as “New”.

Using iTunes completely replaces what was on your device and setting up as new should prevent any corruption being imported back. If that fails then it could mean a visit to the Apple Store I’m afraid, I had to do that for a standard home button issue once, but did get an exchange device out of it (depends how old and type of covers you took out though).
