The more important question is, is it necessary? And the answer to that is no. There's no reason to install it at all.

No Anti-Virus software or so-called “cleaning” apps are needed or recommended for Mac OS. They can conflict with Mac's own built-in security. At best they will slow your Mac by using unnecessary resources and at worst will bork your entire system.

It's not necessary on a Mac. There are almost no viruses that can affect Macs at this time, and macOS has all the tools it needs to protect itself from the ones that do exist.
