Import xml from Final Cut Pro 5

I have some old projects from Final Cut Pro 5 that I am trying to import into Final Cut Pro x. I have exported the projects as an XML but when I try to import them into final cut pro x they are greyed out. Any advice on either the export process from FCP5 or the import into FCP X? Thanks very much!

I am using High Sierra on a 27 inch late 2012 iMac.
