Does Official Apple Support recommend any macOS Anti-Malware?

Any software which claims it will clean your Mac, protect your Mac from virus or improve performance are to be avoided. They in fact do none of that which they claim and in fact cause harm rather then good.

No. Anti-virus programs are worse than useless. Not only do they not protect you but they slow performance and can delete needed files.
