Gift Card has not been properly activated

Hey, I bought a gif card and when I reedem it I run to this message:

Error the Gift Card you entered has not been properly activated. Please contact iTunes Store customer support for assistance at http:/www.apple.com/uk/support/iTunes/.

I did so but I ran into here could anyone help me please.
