BSD process name corresponding to current thread

My MBP has been crashing lately. After reboot, prompts me to send report to Apple.


I have MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017) running High Sierra - 10.13.6 (17G65)


After searching the apple discussion forum, downloaded Etrecheck. Link to Output is pasted below. Could not post the actual output due to invalid character issue of this forum.

Hello aat167,

That's not an EtreCheck report. It is a panic report. That's fine because the panic report is really what you need in this case.


Your panic is related to graphics and you have the following 3rd party kernel extensions installed:

com.google.dfsfuse.filesystems.dfsfuse 3.7.4

com.paloaltonetworks.kext.pangpd 1.0.0

com.displaylink.driver.DisplayLinkDriver 4.3 (124)


Remove all of the software that is associated with these extensions. You can't do that by throwing anything into the trash. You will need to track down official uninstallers or uninstallation instructions for each.


Then, run it without the extensions. If it continues to panic, then you have a hardware problem. If you don't have any more panics, then one of those extensions was the cause. You could then look for newer versions or alternatives.
