In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test. Take advantage of it, let them tell you what is wrong.

Hi, I have the same issue too. Did you manage to resolve it?


I sent my Macbook Pro for a diagnostic test & repair at one of the authorised Apple support centers but to no avail. The technician says that diagnostic results do not show any issues & he couldnt reproduce the issue, hence he can’t fix it. =(

hi were you able to fix this problem? i have the same thing. the lines go away when i shut it down for more than just a few minutes but comes back again when i use it when i use a lot of cpu power or dont shut down for a few days (just sleep mode). did you gat any solutions?
