Macbook Pro stored in a hot car - problem?

Hello,

I would like to ask you all. It´s about one week when I was on vacation in Slovakia by "Sunny lakes". The last day we had to leave our hotel in the morning, but we wanted to go at last on the beach - so I put my new Macbook Pro 13" to crumpler neoprene sleeve, then I put this into my notebook backpack and that all I put in the car behind drivers seat and this I covered with my hoodie.

We were outside about 5-6 hours and during the day there was really hot weather - about 34-35°C. When we came to my car, I had a feeling that inside is about 1000°C - simply everything living would die there .

When I´ve driven home, I started to thinking about breaking my computer by high temperatures in the car. After arriving home, I tried to test my Macbook and it´s working perfectly fine (already 1 week). How can I recognize, that something in my computer has broken? Everbody says "I am crazy" that I left 1500EUR computer in so hot car. I just couldn´t get it together on the beach, when we were swimming in the lake and there was a lot of other people and no shadow on sight.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, iOS 11.4.1, null

From the Apple site see the storage temperature requirements below:

Line voltage: 100V to 240V AC

Frequency: 50Hz to 60Hz

Operating temperature: 50° to 95° F (10° to 35° C)

Storage temperature: –13° to 113° F (–25° to 45° C)

Relative humidity: 0% to 90% noncondensing

Operating altitude: tested up to 10,000 feet

Maximum storage altitude: 15,000 feet

Maximum shipping altitude: 35,000 feet

Not recommended.

Take home lesson, don't go to the beach everyday 😉

Most all published data is on operating temperatures. Follow your instincts.

The spec says the MacBook Pro can be stored at temperature as high as 113 F (45ºC)
