Keynote Remote Question
I know you can use an iPhone to control a Keynote presentation on a MacBook. But can you reverse that and use a MacBook to control the presentation on an iPhone with Keynote remote?

I don't believe so. See Use Keynote Remote on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. The supported options are iOS device controlling iOS device, and iOS device controlling a Mac. There is no mention of Mac to Mac or Mac to iOS.

Yeah, I read that before I posted the question, in hopes that perhaps it wasn't up to date. Thanks for your reply!
You're welcome. 🙂

Mac's can't control Keynote running on iPad iPod or iPhone.
The work around is to use a Bluetooth mouse or Bluetooth keyboard.
Hi Gary, thanks so much for your response. I"m sure I should understand how that would be a work around, but I'm not following. Can you expound, please? Thanks so much.
Ohhh okay, I gotcha. Thanks for explaining. It's not really the function of having to use the touch screen that bothers me. It's that when i use my iPhone as a remote for Keynote, the sidebar navigation tiles are so small i can't see what's coming up next. It would make so much more sense to connect my iPhone via HDMI to the projector, lay it down on the table beside it, and have my 15" iMac Pro at my podium. I'll bet it would be 30 lines of code to make this possible. Lol Anyway, I do appreciate you taking the time to respond again. Much thanks!
