Have you tried to go into the settings, accounts and passwords, delete then readd your comcast mail?
Have you checked the Xfinity/Comcast website to see if there email service is still compatible with iOS 9.3.5 or not?
Just partial with no change..I’ll try deleting whole account and reinstalling to see what happens...Headed to Apple store today so will have them assist if not successful...
