reduce video file size before sending email

The reduction probably will not be enough. Some email servers have a limit of 10meg 😝. Some email client will upload the file to a server and substitute a link for the file. The easiest way will be to create a folder. Export the vid to this folder. Right click on folder and then compress the folder.

Vid less than two gig? I'd get a dropbox folder and up load the vid to there. Dropbox lets you create a link to the file. email the link to who ever you want. How secure does this need to be? Anyone who has the link can download the vid.

Your best bet would be to use the Mail Drop feature of Mail: iCloud: Add an email attachment in iCloud Mail

It's really not practical to try to reduce a video file in size. That would require compromising the video quality, image size, etc. Just sent the original with Mail Drop.
