MacBook Pro - Thunderbolt 3 Dual DisplayPort Dock

I have just bought a MacBook Pro 13" and want to use my two Dell U2518D monitors as extended (not mirrored) displays. I cannot use any other ports on the monitor as they do not provide 2560x1440 resolution, pls see this for details.

Can I use both the monitors as extended displays (not mirrored) with either of these docks?

I was told by someone that I cannot do the same due to the MST (Multi Stream Transport) limitation from Apple on Mac OS.

Can someone please confirm the same?

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018, 4 TBT3), macOS High Sierra (10.13.6), null
