I accidentally deleted then quickly undeleted a group of email messages in my junk folder. Mail crashed and since then crashes immediately every time I try to reopen it. Is there anything I can do short of reinstalling everything? I have the crash report if necessary. Thank you for any help!

thank you! after doing that, Mail still crashed, but stayed open 1-2 seconds. After several tries I was able to pull down the Rebuild Mailboxes command before it crashed. All seems ok now. Thank for the help!

Log out from the account related to the "group of email messages" from Settings or System Preferences. Open the mail app, and it should work fine. Then, log in to the account that you removed. Everything should be good.
