How to upload word document to website from iPad

Can someone help me please.

when ever try to upload a document to my online course browser from my ipad it won’t let me. The browse option is there but when I click through, I can see the documents but I’m not able to click on them to select them for upload. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I’ve tried from chrome, safari and iCabMobile. Tried saving them to Dropbox , but it still doesn’t let me click through to them.
