My Apple ID is always disabled when I sign into a Apple app. Why?

When signing into a app I receive a message on my screen that my Apple ID has been disabled. What should I do to get my apps up and running? Is this something to do with the two factor recognition?

It isn't related to two-factor authentication.


If the message states that your Apple ID is disabled for security reasons see: If your Apple ID is locked or disabled - Apple Support


If it is not for security reasons and you cannot download updates or purchases, contact iTunes support: Contact Apple Support
