Tell us what you have in Settings > General > About > Model > ?
Also tell us at the same place how much space Available > ?
You need 4-6 GB free.
Did you also try to update via computer iTunes with iPhone connected and selected?
You need iTunes version 12.7 or later (we have version 12.8 now)
It sounds as if you have an old version of the installer file on your iPhone. You'll need to delete it and re-download the proper version.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage
Under Storage, select Manage Storage.
Find the iOS software download in the list and tap on it.
Select Delete Update, and confirm you want to delete it.

oops, sorry. I was thinking of the 4S. It should upgrade to 10.3.3.
