iPad Battery Issues

My iPad 2 Air is having an issue where it says it's 100% charged so long as I use it with power, but the minute I unplug it, it loses battery charge.

Can the battery be replaced and do I have to take it in for repair to do this?

I tried to Chat but it won't accept the serial number! What's up with that?

iPad Air Wi-Fi, iOS 11, Not sure which 11 it is.

Make an appointment at Apple store For a battery replacement.
