OWC Thunderbolt 3 Dock shutdown

Same issue as previously stated with a slightly different scenario. I disconnect my MacBook Pro from the dock and can reconnect it during the day or the next day; and it works fine. As long as the blue light underneath is glowing it works. However, at random times it will shut itself off; this morning I connected to the dock upon arrival and it worked. I was connected for about 1 hour; disconnected by laptop to go to a meeting that lasted just over one hour and when I came back the dock was powered off. Disconnecting the cable turned the dock back on; had to reconnect the usbc cable to the laptop and then the communication between the laptop through the dock started.

This seems to be a fault with the docking device.

Seems I'm having difficulty with Apple's community post. I search for my own post, this one, and it doesn't come up. The only way I got back to this post is by linking to it from within my email that I received after posting it. I couldn't reply to the original post because it was greyed out do to no activity; and the system told me to ask a new question. Here are the links to the other posts. Doesn't appear that anyone has an answer nor does OWC.
