How do I delete iTunes Scripts when they're in the menu, but not in the Scripts folder?

I've had many previous versions of iTunes over many years and upgrade every time. Some very old Scripts still appear in the Scripts menu, although many of those listed do not have an associated script file in the Library/iTunes/Scripts folder? (see attached - such as _Google Lyric Search -or- Embed Artwork)

How can I remove the old (non-working) scripts from the menu in this scenario?

Thanks!User uploaded file

Yes. I empty the trash a few times a week. Usually before each Time Machine backup. Thanks for the suggestion!

These “dead” script menu items have survived across new OSes, across restored OSes, many iTunes updates and across new iMac hardware.

Another possible clue that just occurred to me. I keep my entire iTunes library on an external drive. I open the itl file that’s stored externally. (I happen to have a locally stored library, but never use it). Maybe there is a glitch with iTunes pointing to the scripts locally (Script folder) versus all the other iTunes files being external?

Thanks, have a great day.
