No boot camp partition found

I am trying to install Windows 10 using the boot camp assistant but when the computer restarts in the windows installer I get a message that no partition can be found to install to.The partition is visible and pre selected as the install instructions state but I can not get past this point. Any suggestions?


2013 model Mac pro, 3.5 GHz 6-core Intel Xeon E5, 32 GB memory, 500 GB Hard Drive,

Mac Pro (Late 2013), macOS High Sierra (10.13.6), 500 GB HD

Disconnect all external storage, run a SMC reset, and retry BCA.
