Powerbeats 3 no charge light

My Powerbeats 3 will not charge, there is no light showing at all and cannot be reset by pressing power/volume down

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! I understand that your Powerbeats 3 will not charge. Resetting the Beats was a good step to try and I can help point you towards a resolution.

Next, let's see if you're able to update your Beats firmware using the Beats Updater app. You can find the link to download the Beats Updater, along with the instructions here: Update the firmware of your Beats product

If you're unable to complete this step, consider trying to charge the Powerbeats 3 with a different USB cable and/or USB port on your computer, then reset your Beats again. When attempting to reset the Powerbeats 3, be sure to hold both the Power button and Volume down buttons for at least 10 seconds.

If the behavior persists, contact Apple Support to explore possible service options. Select More > Beats by Dre > Battery, Power, & Charging here: Apple - Support - Product Selection

You may need to provide the serial number of your Powerbeats 3, which is located on the cable between the left and right earbuds: Find Your Serial Number
