Screen Mirroring Xfinity Programming

I have the cable that converts the output of my iOS devices from Lightning Connector to HDMI. It works flawlessly with every app except one; Xfinity Stream. in fact, I cannot even go to the Xfinity web site, sign in and show any programming on a television. My purpose is innocent enough; I want to be able to watch local programming on hotel televisions while traveling.

Has anyone found a way to overcome this limitation???
