I am trying to restore my Apple TV (4th generation) and it states "On the back of your Apple TV (4th generation), plug in a USB-C cable." , but there is not place to plug in a USB-C cable. The Apple TV just has power cord , HDMI , and wifi connections. What now?

Thanks Phil for your help. I stand correct it is a 4K but the other problem , which I didn’t mention, is the Apple TV is not showing on the tv. No picture. Now what?

If it has no USB-C port, then you do not have a 4th Generation Apple Tv, but a 4K Apple TV.

4K Apple TV:
Instructions for restoring the 4K Apple Tv are different to the 4th Generation Apple TV. A 4K Apple Tv cannot be restored through iTunes.

Is the status light visible? Have you tried unplugging and plugging the Apple TV in again?
Have you verified the TV input its connected to is the one selected on the Tv?
Have you tried with a different HDMI cable?
Make sure you are using a high speed cable certified for 4K/HDR
My apple TV 4th generation does not have a usb port to connect usb cable
