disconnect gmail from iphone
I want to have gmail on my computer only. I want gmail off my phone. Can I do this?

Go to Settings -> Passwords & Accounts, click on whatever account contains your Gmail account, and switch off whichever options you do not want (Mail, Contacts, etc.)
You can also select "Delete Account" to delete all information regarding the account.
