I am trying to connect a Dell monitor to this Mac. (iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017). No matter what connector I have tried to purchase I do not end up with the correct one.
The only connection on the Dell monitor is HDMI
I am getting really frustrated and very tired of ordering different items to try.
Am I not going to be able to make this work

Note that the Apple adapter won't run a 4K display at 60 Hz.
