Had my iPod touch 6th generation sent out for repairs, it couldn’t be repaired so Apple replaced it. I originally purchased Apple care on the device for 2 years, I have only had the device 9 months. i don’t want to have to pay another $60 plus tax because of a faulty battery in my original ipod.
Contact APple to get this directly from them, but from what I understand coverage will transfer from one device to another
That said, I’m just a person so please contact them and get confirmation - preferably in writing, just to be sure.

My iPod was replaced under Apple warranty, I purchased Apple care for my original iPod will it transfer to my new one?
